Nero 8.2 is an all-in-one burning suite which enables you to experience your digital media in the best possible way. With great compatibility and performance, Nero is the top of the line burning solution. The program allows the user to burn data discs onto CD, DVD, DL DVD, HD-DVD and Blue Ray Discs. It also allows for image burning, and supports most formats out there. Users can also burn their music files (mp3, cda, wav, asf, etc) onto a CD that can be played on regular CD players using the Audio CD option. Disc to disc copy is also available as it would be expected from such a powerful and popular burning suite. The graphical interface is really easy to understand and use, since it is made up of two panels, one for the local disc and another for the disc compilation. Thus, users only have to drag the files they want to burn and drop them onto the compilation panel. After that, a bar at the bottom shows how much space is used in the compilation and whether the data is going to fit on the actual media. This powerful software allows you to transform your digital photos into professional animated slide-shows, backup all of your valuable data, manage or search your media files, edit video or photos, create DVDs (including menus), and stream your files over a media server, and compress files to take on the fly. A great disadvantage is that it requires a lot of system memory, so make sure you have the room before installing it. |
